What is the Emergency Housing Program?

Yichu Xu: New Haven’s emergency housing program run by Continuum of Care is a 24/7 staffed shelter designed to be more trauma-informed by offering greater privacy in shared rooms. It includes eight ADA-accessible rooms on the first floor for medically complex residents. Services include an on-site mental health clinician, case management, housing resources, and crisis management.
